| The
Predator antenna is one of the finest center load antennas on
the market. The Predator antenna is extremely wide banded, has
high DB gain and utilizes a tunable whip for optimum SWR calibration.
Predator antennas are made of heat-treated aircraft aluminum
6061-TS for sheer strength, durability and weight reduction.
Each piece has been designed with threaded connections and are
coated with anti seize compound to eliminate electrolysis. The
stinger holder, top shaft, coil coupler, bottom shaft, and antenna
base utilize threaded connections. The Predator antenna has absolutely
no pressed fit pieces and is precision machined to exact tolerances.

choose. With three models available and the ability the change

This allows for a shorter whip due to a second Coil.

Dual Coil SW Antennas - New

The
SW for (short whip) is a new design by Predator. When height
is an issue, this is the one to buy. The
top load has two additional wraps. The result is an antenna
that is about a foot and a half shorter than the standard
double coil antenna. The reduction in overall length is
accomplished by designing a top load with additional wraps
which allows for an even shorter whip. Extreme bandwidth
is retained.Purchase in single lot or buy a pair and save with lower multi
lot pricing. We

Shipping
cost - is your system accurate? Our system is tied to
the UPS shipping tables and is very accurate. However, the system
does have limitations. In some situations the system may be incorrect.
These situations involve oversized items (width + height X 2
+ length) longer than 59.5 inches for oversize #1, items (width
+ height X 2 + length) longer than 84 inches for oversize #2,
and orders which include an antenna. Freight is adjusted for
these situations to reflect correct shipping cost's. Fuel surcharge-
our system does not add the fuel surcharge charged by UPS. We
add the fuel surcharge to the order and the dollar amount of
the order is adjusted up by the current percentage.
Example 1 - An order that includes items such
as an antenna bracket, coax and antenna grouped as one order. The
system will calculate 2 boxes required. This is not correct in
most cases and shipping cost will be adjusted down to a 1 box shipment
if only 1 box is required.
Example 2 - For an oversized item such as a 5
foot or longer antenna or an antenna that includes a whip requiring
a box (width + height X 2 + length) longer than 59.5 inches. The
system does not add the oversize fee ($6) charged by the carrier.
Freight is adjusted up to reflect the correct shipping cost.
Fuel
Surcharge -
UPS charges 4.75% of the shipping amount for ground and 16% of
the shipping amount for air freight and international shipments. We
add the fuel surcharge to the order and the dollar amount of the
order is adjusted up by this percentage to reflect the correct
shipping cost. The fuel surcharge is a percentage of the shipping cost,
not the entire cost of the order. |
