| Firestik "KW" Series
- More info |
The
most popular wire-wound CB antenna in the world. This is
the original Firestik design, and a proven performer since
1975. The
"KW" antennas are compatible with autos, trucks, vans,
motorcycles and ATV's in a single antenna configuration when
metallic ground plane is available or they may be used in dual
(co-phased) configuration on any vehicle made from any type of
material. |

The "FL" Series antennas are the performance leader of
lightweight top-loaded CB antennas. Each is approximately 40% lighter
than the equivalent length Firestik II antenna. From the perspective
of mount stress, the lighter materials and reduced wind drag of
the "FL" antennas reduces stress by more than 60%. A 4-foot
FireFly will easily perform on a mount that is designed for antennas
3-foot or less.

If you took the proven features and performance of the famous "KW"
series antennas and added a unique tuning mechanism to the top,
you would own the equivalent of a Firestik II, "FS" Series
antenna. Aside from the ease of tuning, the patented design broadens
the antennas bandwidth to keep SWR lower over more channels. The
upper coil extension also increases the power handling capability
of the antenna. |

"No-Ground
Plane" CB Antenna Kit |
|
|
|
 |
|
The
DS14-FG 'No ground plane" (NGP) CB antenna kit was
specifically designed to solve the lack of ground plane
(counterpoise) problems found on vehicles constructed
of plastic, fiberglass, wood or aluminum. This includes,
but is not limited to, motorcycles, motor homes, boats,
automobiles and 18-wheeler trucks.

The FG-648 series, 'No ground plane" (NGP) CB antenna kits were specifically designed to solve the problems associated with the lack of ground plane (counterpoise). This normally occurs on vehicles constructed of plastic, fiberglass, wood or aluminum. This includes, but is not limited to, motorhomes, boats, automobiles and 18-wheeler trucks. The isolated ground plane that is built into the FGX-648 series kits can also eliminate problems on metal base vehicles that lack the sufficient ground plane for proper operation |

Shipping Information |
Shipping
cost - is your system accurate? Our system is tied to
the UPS shipping tables and is very accurate. However, the system
does have limitations. In some situations the system may be incorrect.
These situations involve oversized items (width + height X 2
+
length) longer than 59.5 inches for oversize #1, items (width
+ height X 2 + length) longer than 84 inches for oversize #2,
and orders
which include an antenna. Freight is adjusted for
these situations to reflect correct shipping cost's. Fuel surcharge-
our system does not
add the fuel surcharge charged by UPS. We
add the fuel surcharge to the order and the dollar amount of
the order is adjusted up by the current percentage.
Example 1 - An order that includes items such
as an antenna bracket, coax and antenna grouped as one order. The
system will
calculate 2 boxes required. This is not correct in
most cases and shipping cost will be adjusted down to a 1 box shipment
if only 1 box is required.
Example 2 - For an oversized item such as a 5
foot or longer antenna or an antenna that includes a whip requiring
a box (width +
height X 2 + length) longer than 59.5 inches. The
system does not add the oversize fee ($6) charged by the carrier.
Freight is adjusted
up to reflect the correct shipping cost.
Fuel
Surcharge -
UPS charges 4.75% of the shipping amount for ground and 16% of
the shipping amount for air freight and
international shipments. We
add the fuel surcharge to the order and the dollar amount of
the order is adjusted up by this percentage to
reflect the correct
shipping cost. The fuel surcharge is a percentage of the shipping
cost, not the entire cost of the order.
Weight -
An (oversize one) package is billed at 30 pounds and an (oversize
two) package is billed at 70 pounds by UPS. Some items will show
up in the shopping cart as either 30 or 70 pounds even though the
actual weight of the item is much less. This is not a mistake,
this is how it will be billed by the carrier. In
an effort to establish an accurate shipping cost we have input
these weights for oversize items.
