A noise filter is designed to reduce or eliminate noise that the radio is receiving through the power cord. The noise filter is primarily designed to eliminate alternator whine, windshield wiper noise, and blinker noise. This filter is designed in house by Clays Radio Shop technicians. It has more filtering capabilities than off the shelf filters costing twice the price of our filter. Over the years we have tried many high end filters offered by several manufactures and they simply don't work well. We have designed this filter to do what a noise filter is intended to do, eliminate electrical noise. |

filter- HD - uninstalled - designed for a SSB CB Radio or 10-meter Radio (without amp). Some 10-meter radios such as the DX94, DX98, DX93, DX95T have built in amplifiers. This filter is hevier duty than the standard filter but is not designed for these high amperage draw radios. |
