JM HFCA-08 At just over 1’ in length, this
replacement staff has been pre-tuned for the CB, (NO-SWR adjustment

(same antenna) for the tail trunk position on 1989-2008 Harley Dressers.
This antenna features a top-loaded copper-wound fiberglass rod, with

The "FL" Series
antennas are the performance leader of lightweight top-loaded
CB antennas. Each is approximately 40% lighter than the equivalent
length Firestik II antenna. From the perspective of mount stress,
the lighter materials and reduced wind drag of the "FL" antennas
reduces stress by more than 60%. A 4-foot FireFly will easily
perform on a mount that is designed for antennas 3-foot or less.
At the top of every "FL" antenna you will find our
patented tunable-tip. Besides making tuning a snap, the design
broadens the antennas bandwidth and increases its power handling

a balance between flexibility and ruggedness, we use a custom
blended, glass fiber reinforced tube. Each is wound with double
insulated copper wire to prevent the oxidation and shorted windings
often found on non-Firestik antennas. The tunable tip mechanism
is made from rust-proof brass and has a rubber o-ring to hold
the adjuster in place after tuning. Our 3/8"-24 threaded
base will fit all Firestik mounts and accessories. Each antenna
is covered with a static reducing, water-tight sleeve containing
UV and pigment stabilizers.

FS-2 - More
Info - If you took the
proven features and performance of the famous "KW"
series antennas and added a unique tuning mechanism to the top,
you would own the equivalent of a Firestik II, "FS" Series
antenna. Aside from the ease of tuning, the patented design broadens
the antennas bandwidth to keep SWR lower over more channels. The
upper coil extension also increases the power handling capability
of the antenna. All "FS" antennas are compatible with
autos, trucks, vans, motorcycles and ATV's in a single antenna
configuration when metallic ground plane is available. Or, they
may be used in dual (co-phased) configuration on any vehicle made
from any type of material.

Info
- Like all CB antennas,
the "FS" antennas should be fine-tuned (SWR) in their
final mounting location. If you have ever tuned a non-tunable
tip antenna, you will have a real appreciation for the "FS" antennas.
To tune a "FS" antenna, you just pop-of the tip and
turn the adjustment screw up or down as needed. All "FS" antennas
exceed the requirements of any CB radio, new or old. Aside from
the hi-performance loading coil that maximizes the transmit/receive
functions of your CB, these top-loaded antennas will also receive
the NOAA emergency weather alert and national weather broadcasts
for radios with those features. Available

Info - The "FS" antennas

sleeve containing UV and pigment stabilizers. For peek performance
we recommend that you use an 18-foot coaxial cable with these
antennas.

| What
do I need for a complete J&M system? |
You
will need a radio, either the (JMCB-2003-SL) kit
for solo (Driver Only) or the (JMCB-2003-DU) kit
for driver/passenger headset operation. You will also need a radio mounting bracket, headset, lower cord section and an antenna
system. If you have a radar detector with an audio output jack,
voice activated cell phone or a GPS with an audio output jack
you can integrate these items and listen to them through the
drivers headset with the audio integration kit model number
(
JCB03-CFRG).
The JMCB-2003 radio is designed to integrate one audio source
or device without the need for the JCB03-CFRG audio integration
kit. The kit is only required when integrating more than one
audio device. |
