Warranty Policy - Cobra CB radios
We are an authorized Cobra CB radio warranty service center. Cobra CB radios may be returned to us within the manufactures warranty period for a warranty repair. Cobra offers no freight reimbursement. The customer is responsible for freight to and from our facility. The original purchase receipt must be included with the item along with a description of the symptoms you are experiencing.

Return Policy - Refunds
GPS, CB radios, 10-meter radios, police scanners, radar detectors, and antenna systems that are not defective are returnable within 15 days of the sale date, and are subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned opened or in a non-factory sealed box. The product must be in its original condition, including the box, UPC bar code, packaging, all accessories and literature. CB and 10-meter radios are non returnable for refund if ordered with any internal modifications what so ever. The customer is responsible for freight to our facility.

Return Policy - Item for item Exchange
GPS, CB radios, 10-meter radios, police scanners, radar detectors, microphones, and antenna systems that are defective are returnable within 15 days of the original sale date for an item for item exchange. The product must be in its original condition, including the box, UPC bar code, packaging, all accessories and literature. We will exchange (the defective item only) If any part of the items listed (original condition, including the box, UPC bar code, packaging, all accessories and literature) are missing. CB and 10-meter radios are normally non returnable for exchange if ordered with any internal modifications. Under these conditions we will examine the CB or 10-meter radio and will make a decision as to exchanging the defective item. The customer is responsible for freight to our facility.
We will pay the freight back to the customer (UPS Ground Only) excluding international orders. International orders include Hawaii, Canada and Mexico territories. Please call for an RA number before shipping an item to our facility. The RA number must be printed on the outside of the box. A package returned without an RA number will be refused. J&M motorcycle products satisfaction guarantee: If you are not satisfied with the quality and sound of your J&M brand helmet headset, CB antenna or replacement speaker, we will buy it back. We give you 15 days from the date of purchase to hook the headset, antenna or replacement speaker up and check it out. If you are not completely satisfied we will take it back within 15 days from the date of the original purchase. J&M offers a 2 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The provisions of this guarantee shall not apply to any unit which has been subjected to misuse, neglect, incorrect mechanical or electrical installation, unauthorized modifications, accidents, nor to units which have been repaired or altered. If returned the product must be in its original condition, including the box, UPC bar code, packaging, and all accessories. Freight is non refundable. The customer is responsible for freight back to our facility. Please call for an RA number before shipping an item to our facility. The RA number must be printed on the outside of the box. Price Guarantee: If you find the J&M system you have purchased at a lower price, we will refund the difference. We give you 30 days after the sale to shop around. If you find a verifiable delivered price on a new J&M system lower than our price, we will refund the difference.

The Wilson 500 - Will transmit and receive farther than the antenna it replaces (excluding the Wilson 1000 or 5000) or your money back. This guarantee is good for 15 days from the date of purchase.

The Wilson 1000 - Will transmit and receive farther than the antenna it replaces (excluding the Wilson 5000) or your money back. This guarantee is good for 15 days from the date of purchase.

Missing accessories
The value of missing items will be deducted from the credit amount of a return. For exchanges, we will exchange what the customer returns (e.g., box for box, manual for manual, etc.)

The following products carry a manufacture repair/exchange warranty. The decision to repair or replace the item is determined by the manufacture. Uniden CB radios, Uniden police scanners, Cobra and Garmin GPS, Dosy watt & SWR meters, Astatic and Turner microphones, Firestik products, Everhardt -Tiger - Solarcon antennas, Bell - Cobra - Whistler - radar detectors, Cobra and Whistler power inverters, and Pyramid power supply's. The following products carry a manufacture repair only warranty. A defective item must be returned to the manufactures warranty service center for a warranty repair. Cobra 10-meter radios, Connex 10-meter radios, Galaxy CB and 10-meter radios , General 10-meter radios, Ranger CB and 10-meter radios, and Magnum 10-meter radios. Please refer to the phone number below and call for an RA number before shipping the item to the manufacture for a warranty repair. Product that has been altered from the factory stock (out of the box) condition should be put back to the factory stock (out of the box) condition before shipping the item to the manufactures warranty facility in order to retain the manufactures warranty. We offer a prep for return service at a reasonable rate. Details on this service can be found below.

Prep for factory return service
Prep for return service includes checking the item in order to verify the defective condition, removing all internal modifications, de-tuning back to stock specs, contacting the manufacture for an RA number, shipping the radio to the repair facility. Once the radio has been returned to us from the manufactures repair facility we re-install all internal modifications, re-tune the radio back to the specifications the radio was set at when it was received from the customer and shipping the radio back to the customer. It may be more financially feasible to repair the equipment in house if the failure is minor as compared to cost involved in a prep for return. We exercise judgment and will inform you if we determine an in house repair is more feasible than a prep for return. If you intend on using our prep for return service please call us for rates and an RA number. The RA number must be printed on the outside of the box. A package returned without an RA number will be refused. No C.O.D's please. We do not accept C.O.D's.
Service and Repair - Warranty Policy

We warrant all services, repairs, and installations for three months parts and labor for defects in materials and workmanship.

Performance related modifications: We offer a thirty day money back satisfaction guarantee on all performance related modifications. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason with our performance service the radio must be returned to us. We will remove all modifications and restore the equipment back to stock factory specifications and issue a credit back to the original credit card used for the entire dollar amount excluding freight originally charged for the performance related modification. In the event an item must be shipped back to us the customer is responsible for shipping cost back to us and we will pay shipping back to the customer for thirty days from the original shipping date. We will provide ground shipping method via UPS, Fed Ex or USPS at our expense for thirty days from the original shipment date. Shipping is offered as part of our warranty policy for shipments within the continental US only. Please call for an RA number before shipping an item to our facility. The RA number must be printed on the outside of the box. A package returned without an RA number will be refused. No C.O.D's please. We do not accept C.O.D's. Under no circumstances can the warranty seal we install be tampered with or broken

What is not covered under warranty:
Amplifiers- We do not warrant output finals. Final damage is caused by the following circumstances - Operating the equipment with high antenna SWR, exceeding the duty cycle of the amplifier, hooking the positive line to 24 volts, polarity reversal, lightening strikes, antenna discharges, and latching up.
Transceivers- We do not warrant output finals, the receivers front end, and damage to the fail safe circuit. Final damage is caused by the following circumstances - Operating the equipment with high antenna SWR, lightening strikes, and antenna discharges. Damage to the receivers front end is caused from overdrive, lightening strikes and operating the equipment in a storm or a sand storm. A storm or a sand storm will charge the antenna system. When the antenna discharges you will hear a pop or spark type sound through your speaker. The fail safe circuit is designed to fail and limit damage to the transceiver when the transceivers polarity has been reversed and when the transceiver has been subjected to a voltage surge.

Explanations: The following circumstances are outside of our control and are not considered defects in material or workmanship.
Exceeding the duty cycle - An amplifier has a duty cycle. The duty cycle is the amount of time the amp can be keyed up verses the amount of time it should be un keyed. If you key for to long a period of time or do not un-key for a long enough period of time the finals will overheat and become damaged.
Latching up - using an incorrect coax jumper length- usually a jumper that is to short. A short coax jumper may cause the amplifier to latch up and not un-key. The amp may un key on certain channels and latch up on other channels. This will cause damage quickly. Short coax jumpers are not recommended even if the SWR is low with the jumper.
Overdrive - Overdrive is a situation where another radio user keys up close to you with a high output amplifier. Another radio user does not have to be on the same channel to cause damage.
Antenna discharge - The antenna system can become charged during a storm or a sand storm. When the antenna discharges you will hear a pop or spark type sound from the speaker. We recommend disconnecting the coax from the equipment quickly if you experience this situation. The receivers front end can be damaged and the transmitting final can also be damaged if you key the mike while the antenna is charged.
Polarity reversal - Polarity reversal is hooking the positive line to negative and the negative line to positive. This can also be caused from connecting the power plug into the transceivers power jack backwards. It will not plug in all the way but will make an electrical connection. The fail safe circuit is designed to fail and limit damage to the transceiver when the transceivers polarity has been reversed or the transceiver has been subjected to a voltage surge. Under these circumstances the fail safe is designed to short and burn the fuse. If you use a fuse with a higher amperage rating than recommended the fail safe may burn open and will not limit damage. When the fail safe circuit is damaged the fuse will burn when the transceiver is hooked up. Once the fail safe has been damaged it must be replaced.

Returning equipment for a warranty repair - In the event an item must be shipped back to us the customer is responsible for shipping cost back to us and we will pay shipping back to the customer for thirty days from the original shipping date. Shipping Policy

UPS packages are shipped every day with the exception of weekends and holidays. These services are available in all 50 states. UPS (Quantum View) notifies our customers by email at the end of each day with information on tracking and the scheduled delivery date. Please verify the email address listed on your order for accuracy. Note: UPS can not ship to a post office box.

Shipping cost - is your system accurate? Our system is tied to the UPS shipping tables and is very accurate. However, the system does have limitations. In some situations the system may be incorrect. These situations involve oversized items (width + height X 2 + length) longer than 59.5 inches for oversize #1, items (width + height X 2 + length) longer than 84 inches for oversize #2, and orders which include an antenna. Freight is adjusted for these situations to reflect correct shipping cost's. Fuel surcharge- our system does not add the fuel surcharge charged by UPS. We add the fuel surcharge to the order and the dollar amount of the order is adjusted up by the current percentage.
Example 1 - An order that includes items such as an antenna bracket, coax and antenna grouped as one order. The system will calculate 2 boxes required. This is not correct in most cases and shipping cost will be adjusted down to a 1 box shipment if only 1 box is required.
Example 2 - For an oversized item such as a 4 foot or longer antenna or an antenna that includes a whip requiring a box (width + height X 2 + length) longer than 59.5 inches. The system does not add the oversize fee ($6) charged by the carrier. Freight is adjusted up to reflect the correct shipping cost.

Fuel Surcharge - UPS charges 4.75% of the shipping amount for ground and 16% of the shipping amount for air freight and international shipments. We add the fuel surcharge to the order and the dollar amount of the order is adjusted up by this percentage to reflect the correct shipping cost.

UPS Ground Service is the most cost effective method of shipment. The UPS map shows delivery timeframe's for ground service. In determining the delivery day do not count the day of shipment as well as weekends and holidays. 

UPS 3 Day Select is a cost effective expedited service. The package is delivered typically by end of the third business day. In determining the delivery day do not count the day of shipment as well as weekends and holidays. 

UPS 2 Day Air is fast and reasonable for the service received and is available for all 50 states. The package is delivered typically by end of the second business day. In determining the delivery day do not count the day of shipment as well as weekends and holidays.

UPS Overnight is an extremely fast method of delivery. The service is available from the 48 contiguous states and limited addresses in Alaska and Hawaii. The package is delivered typically by 3:00 p.m. the next business day. In determining the delivery day do not count the day of shipment as well as weekends and holidays.
Saturday delivery is available as an add in service to most destinations. UPS charges $12.50 as an additional fee for this service. If you require the package delivered on a Saturday just specify this in the note section upon check out. We will add the $12.50 UPS service fee to the order and ship the package as a Saturday delivery. This service is not available for ground, second day air and three day select shipments.

Signature required - We ship packages with no signature required as a default providing the bill to and ship to address on file with your credit card's issuing bank are the same address. We require the shipment sent signature required if the order specifies a different ship to address other than the bill to address on file with your credit card's issuing bank. We will add the $1.50 UPS fee to the order. The dollar amount of the order is adjusted to reflect this additional charge. If you prefer the shipment sent signature required, specify this in the note section upon check out. UPS charges $1.50 for a signature required shipment. The dollar amount of the order will be adjusted by us after receiving the order to reflect this additional charge.

Minimum orders - We have no set minimum order. Regardless of how small an order may be, we are happy that you selected us and appreciate your business.

Address Corrections (customer redirects) An error as simple as a zip code or street address will result in an address correction by UPS.  When this occurs UPS charges $5.00 for a ground package and $10.00 for an air package.  Please make certain to review the ship to address for accuracy. Address correction/customer redirects expenses will be passed along to the customer that placed the order upon notification by UPS of the additional charge.

Late deliveries - We must be informed via email within 2 business days in the event an item arrives late (after the scheduled delivery date per the Quantum View email). When a package arrives later than it's guaranteed delivery date we can file for a shipping adjustment. We credit the credit card or Pay Pal account used once the adjustment claim has been settled.

Damaged deliveries - We must be informed within 2 business days via email in the event an item arrives damaged. We treat UPS claims as a priority and will file a claim within one business day from the day we were informed. The box, packing materials, and the damaged item should be kept in the event UPS request's and inspection. An item that is priced $30 or less including freight will be replaced in a timely fashion without waiting for the claim process to be completed by UPS. Items priced for more than $30 including freight will be replaced once UPS has settled the claim. This offer is for US shipments only.
